                                      Leading
up to Miss Lees remarks, Mr.
                                        Theo Chambers, President, brought greetings
on behalf of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce
and Wayne Cummings, President, on behalf
of the Jamaica Hotel Tourist Association.
                                      During
her presentation Ms. Lee made a strong
appeal for the nation to place stronger
emphasis on protecting the youth and in
                                        developing opportunities to enrich their
                                        lives.
                                      She
said the children who are our future are
                                        imperiled based on her observations
of their behavior, which goes far beyond
their years. Children have in some cases
                                        become susceptibility to human trafficking
caused by lack of protection, guidance
and many times love. She asked where is
the protection and love? Where are the
fathers? And where is the village that
                                        is to protect the children?
The Chamber President asked for help from
all sectors in stating I am imploring
you to do more for our children, increasing
                                        positive entertainment, investing in more
things geared towards children, and using
community centers to their full potential.

                                      On
behalf of the Negril Chamber of Commerce
and in recognition of the work that Ambassador
Walsh has done with the children of the
nation, Ms. Lee awarded Ambassador Walsh
                                        with a framed membership certificate,
a copy of Negril Chambers official
visitor Guide and a membership card.
                                      Adding
                                        to the elegant evening reception,
a photo montage presented a silent witness
of the great moments in Ambassador Walshs
                                        career.
                                      Miss
Lee promised to recognize other notable
heroes during her tenure as President
